If you draw a line from Napa Valley to Lake Tahoe, and another from Yosemite to Crater Lake (possibly the only lake in the world more beautiful than Tahoe), the intersection of those lines is about where I live. I studied Electrical Engineering at Cal State University Sacramento, but discovered early that I’d rather run my own tech business than crunch engineering data for somebody else’s. My college roommates and I bought a laser printer in the mid-80’s when most people didn’t know what one was, and thus began my lifelong ownership and operation of Blue River Digital Inc., which started as a digital graphic production shop (similar to a digital print house but not exactly) and has since evolved into a specialized provider of large format backlit graphic display hardware and print media. Blue River Digital now offers the world’s largest selection of backlit display lightboxes along with duratrans backlit graphics and other large format graphic display hardware and full color digital prints. My favorite part of running a small business is the same answer as my favorite color: all of them.
