Since 1999, I have been obsessed with building wearable and embedded sensor devices that can detect and respond human emotional states. I believe that biosensors can help machines better respond to human fatigue, anxiety, pain, memory loss and mental illness. I also believe that emotionally-sensitive machines can help people communicate more effectively and therapeutically. In the last 16+ years, I have been a professor, entrepreneur and inventor. Recently, I completed by doctorate in Media and Communication at the European Graduate School and published my first book, "The Placebo Life Technique" through Atropos Press. I currently consult for universities, companies and research groups that need to design or source electronics, OEM/ODM services and/or mobile virtual network operator services.
