I am a writer, Blogger and political activist with a background in Finance and Public Transport. I have run the well regarded and widely referenced “Dáithaí C” Irish Expat Blog since 2007 and this and its Blog traffic have been merged with The Skibbereen Eagle. I have written on Transport, Political and London issues and contributed to The Guardian, London Evening Standard and BBC. As well as being Managing Editor of The Skibbereen Eagle I am available for freelance contributions on Irish interest, Transport, The Tube, London and UK Politics – please make initial contact by email. My background is in Finance, Business Analysis and Public Transport, latterly as Performance Reporting Manager for London Underground on which I'm an SME. I am currently working on two publishing projects, The Great Circle Line Journey and The Story of Kos. A proud Dubliner I am now days found nesting in the warm hearted centre of West Cork, Ireland close to the Wild Atlantic Way.
