David's experience primarily centers on the high growth start up space in addition to the sustainable development industry. Prior to joining BHI in its Technology Banking department, David was a Portfolio Analyst at Square 1 Bank where he served the Boston and NYC venture debt portfolios. As one of the first employees at Gecko Health Innovations, David worked alongside the founders providing valuation and business development support to successfully close capital raises from angels and strategic venture capital investors. This allowed further development of their hardware/software combination solution for chronic respiratory illnesses which improved adherence to treatment. Gecko was acquired by Teva in 2015.

David is highly interested in sustainable solutions for the developing world which focus on strong entrepreneurship ecosystems as an effective financial inclusion mechanism. He worked as a Fall Associate at EY's Nairobi office, where he focused on serving foreign clients augmenting investing streams into Kenya. David also is a co-founder of Crater Creations, a non-profit empowering Maasai communities to co-create sustainable solutions for vulnerable Maasai youth. See more here: www.cratercreations.org.

He has lived and worked in 10 different countries in Europe, Asia, The Middle East, North America, and East Africa, and speaks English and Hebrew. David holds dual bachelors degrees in Finance and Environmental Science from Endicott College.
