David Harris Sr

After moving to Waco, TX in 1985 I had the opportunity to serve in various capacities at multiple Christian nonprofit NGO’s such as Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and Antioch Ministries International (AMI); serving in North America, Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and East Asia. These activities have included participating in the first March for Jesus in Riga, Latvia in 1994, backpacking and carrying bibles to remote villages in the mountains in Albania, assisting in hosting a cell church conference in Manila, Philippines, scouting out a potential long-term church plant in Tunis, Tunisia and simply serving local churches in Poland, Hungary, Germany, Mexico and Turkey.

Since that time I have jumped full-on into the business world and have spent over a decade in sales with the last eight plus years specializing in farm and ranch real estate. In April of 2011 I began HIS Group LLC: Harris Investment Services, a new real estate brokerage firm, to continue to broaden my capacity to specialize in real estate!

I have been happily married for 10+ years to my lovely wife and have four incredible sons. We love to vacation in Lake City, Colorado and Hot Springs, Arkansas. My hobbies are business, reading, writing, running, triathlon’s and family time. We are actively involved with Antioch Community Church.

I love how the Old Testament prophets speak of the body of Christ being a mountain of the Lord established as chief above the other mountains and particularly Jeremiah 33:9 that speaks of nations standing in awe and trembling at the abundant prosperity and peace of God’s people. My prayer is that we would all to grow into the mountain God intends for us to be.
