David Murray

David is a true crime writer, researcher and public speaker currently living in Newcastle, Australia. He is a university medalist with a Creative Arts PhD from University of Newcastle. He has published two books of poetry: “Swinging from a broken clock” and “Blue bottle” (Sultana Press), and contributed to Overland, The Australasian Journal of Popular Culture and Mascara Poetry Journal.

He is also interested in psychogeographical drifting, where he photographs and records urban space as a site of historiographical memories, decay, dreams and renewal.
