McKnight is COO of Leisure Interactive, which provides reservation technology and marketing services to hundreds of global clients. Leisure Interactive is a software and Internet services organization, headquartered in Orange, California with operations and joint ventures in the United States, Canada, China and the United Kingdom.

Previously, McKnight was CEO of teamMetrx, an international software development firm with operations and partnerships in China, Mexico and the US.

McKnight was also President of the International Association for Technology Trade, a consortium of technology organizations, consultant partners, government agencies and corporate members seeking to generate successful business opportunities for trading partners -- with a key focus on China and developing countries.

He is the former vice chair of the international board of directors of the Association of Internet Professionals, where he also chaired the AIP Certification Accreditation Council (ACAC) and was an AIP representative to the US Congressional Internet Caucus Advisory Committee.

He was a member of the Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Working Group, and has been a frequent speaker and writer on Internet policy and technology issues.

McKnight also has Fortune 500 level marketing experience, specializing in the development of strategic partnerships with the likes of MTV, eBay, Disney, CBS, Chevrolet Motor Division, CNN, Universal Pictures, Coca-Cola, Steven Spielberg and NASCAR among others.

He has been interviewed by a range of news organizations, including CCTV-9 (China), the Washington Post, USA Today and the Wall Street Journal.
