An experimental high energy particle physicist living in Switzerland and working at CERN. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame and am currently a Senior Research Scientist at Northeastern University.
At the CMS experiment I am the project manager of the Cathode Strip Chamber muon detector. I have worked in multiple capacities on both analysis and detector work, including high priority analyses, technical coordination, and management roles, resulting in internal and journal publications.
I have experience with large scale, parallelized data processing and analysis, in both high throughput and high output scenarios. I thrive on developing creative solutions to complex analytical and computational problems on a personal and team basis.
I am also interested in science policy, education, and outreach, particularly in the areas of basic research and new techonologies.
I am passionate about the science and art of photography, wine, history, and the French language.
