David Mussehl

Financial executive David Mussehl joined the New York Life Insurance Company as a Sales Agent in 1996. Mr. Mussehl's superiors quickly recognized his abilities and dedication, and over the subsequent 16 years, he received numerous promotions. He currently holds the position of Managing Partner of the Orange Coast General Office. As such, Mr. Mussehl runs one of New York Life's top-producing branches, handling recruitment and training and overseeing sales and compliance for the Irvine, California-based office.

David Mussehl applies a decade and a half of experience in ensuring the financial well-being of policy owners and pioneering and marketing new technologies, products, and services. In his executive role, Mr. Mussehl oversees more than 200 professionals, including agents extensively trained in reviewing specific situations and personal objectives for individuals, families, and business owners and developing and implementing plans to help them achieve their goals. Since he was charged with leading the Orange Coast General Office in 2007, Mr. Mussehl has received several company recognitions. In 2008, he and his office received an award for excellence in recruiting and management development for the Pacific Region and a National Senior Vice President's Award of Excellence.

David Mussehl started out in New York Life's Portland, Oregon, office before receiving a promotion to Partner of the company's Arizona General Office two years later. He finished 2002 as one of New York Life's top 25 partners, and in 2003, his superiors named him Managing Partner of the Southern Connecticut General Office. He led that office to become the first and second highest-producing branch in the company over subsequent years.

During his free time, David Mussehl enjoys traveling and playing golf. He donates to such charities as the local Union Gospel Mission and Habitat for Humanity International.
