Dàvid Ranc is currently Associate Dean for Compliance and Accreditations (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) at ESSCA School of Management, where he is a researcher at the EU-Asia Institute & was Project Manager of FREE. Dàvid Ranc did his PhD at the University of Cambridge and published Foreign Players and Football Supporters with Manchester University Press, the only academic book to look at football supporters’ reactions to the stark increase (after the 1995 ECJ Bosman Ruling) in the number of foreign players in the clubs they support. He coedited with Albrecht Sonntag a Football Research in an Enlarged Europe book series with Palgrave Macmillan. He also coauthored (still with Albrecht Sonntag) a UNESCO report: Colour? What colour? Report on the fight against discrimination and racism in football.
Dàvid Ranc also used to work as a photographer (& share photoed aphs daily on his blog - no longer updated) & as a photography teacher with Oxbridge Academics in Montpellier. He now publishes on Instagram, using the davidikus.ph handle.
