David Robertson is a 2012 graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Obtaining a double major in Economics and Political Science with Cum Laude honors he also served the student body extensively for four years in capacities both in the student government and university administration.

In addition to service on campus he also assisted students across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts regarding student health insurance. As a member of the Student Health Organizing Coalition he was the chief representative of public higher education isntitutes as well as western Massachusetts. As well as managing recruiting efforts, education, and outreach David also consulted and was quoted by media outlets regarding the coalitions progress in collboration with other leaders. Notable sources include the Boston Globe, Tufts University paper "Tuft's Daily", and the National Public Radio.
