David Songco

Milwaukee, WI

David Songco received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. As an alumnus of Loyola University Chicago (BS- Psychology, Theology, Feminist Studies), David has spent the last nine years expanding and growing his social and professional network throughout the Midwest. He has worked in various positions including consulting with Alexian Brothers Bonaventure House, a non-profit organization in Chicago. He previously worked as the Retail Business Sales Coordinator for Apple, Inc where he achieved 1.2 million dollars of annual sales through maintaining active client relationships with companies around Chicago and throughout the United States. David completed his Diagnostic and Assessment training at Hartgrove Hospital, which recently ranked as one of the Top 100 Psychiatric Hospitals in the United States by the US World and News Report. He completed his therapy training at Insight Psychological Centers in which he co-facilitated Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Trauma Recovery groups. David was also responsible for introducing the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy intensive outpatient program. David completed an advanced therapy training at Depaul University Counseling Services in which he provided individual psychotherapy with a college-aged population. David completed his APA accredited Doctoral Internship at American University in Washington D.C. where he provided individual and group therapy, as well as supervision to 2nd year practicum students.

During his free time, David tries to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle through running, cycling and playing recreational tennis and when the time and weather permits, competitive alpine and XC skiing. David also volunteers his time serving as the Executive Director of MYHP and volunteering with Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity.

David is currently a Post-Doctoral Resident for New Insights, LLC, a private clinical psychology practice located in Milwaukee, WI.
