David Larsen

David Larsen CHA, CCIM President and CEO HMS Hotels and Resorts David Larsen serves as Vice President of LTS Hospitality and is also the CEO and COO of HMS Corporation which operates under license agreement with Hospitality Membership System. The Hotel Group operates under the brand names of Carefree Inn®, Galleria Palms Hotels, and the Windemere. The Corporation also owns a proprietary Global Reservation System called www.HotelResevationsRus.com® which operates under affiliations with; ReservHotel®, GenaRes®, and the InnLink® GDS Companies. Previously David was the Regional Vice President of Cendant (Wyndham) Corporation®, one of the largest Hospitality Corporations in the World. David was awarded Regional Vice President of the Year four years, and Development Director of the Year three years. His responsibilities included development and new franchise attainment for three Hotel Groups on an annual bases. David began his career working for Hungry Tiger Restaurants® a division of Flying Tiger Airlines®. He later migrated to Hotels working for a Company called Flautt and Mann. The Hotels he directed have earned him and the hotels many industry awards including: National Restaurant Association’s Most Valuable Promotion Award (MVP Award), Holiday Inn Touché Bearer Top 10, 20, 50 and 100 Hotels of the Year. David also received a personal leadership award from the Command Sergeant Major of the United States First Army. In the early 1990s David branched out into Hotel Ownership and was part of a newly formed partnership that redeveloped the Sheraton Riverfront Hotel in Downtown Montgomery Alabama. In 1994 David became Managing Director of Operations for the Nation of HoChunk located in the State of Wisconsin. David overviewed Ho Chunk’s Portfolio of Hotels, including two Native American Casino Development Projects and managed a Condominium project. Subsequently all of the hotels under his direct supervision have attained acceptable profits with high yields to the both general and limited partners who held investments under his management.
