David Dickey

Irvine, CA

As President and Chief Executive Officer of The Patriot Group, Inc. since January of 2012, David Dickey has used his experience as a former United States Marine Corps officer, Iraqi veteran, and Bronze Star honoree to build a successful company. Mr. Dickey's organization operates as a staff placement and military career company. An energetic supporter of important veteran's issues, David Dickey helps veterans in such matters as supporting disabled veterans in small business and military transition issues.

He joined the Marines Corps in 1992. After serving as an Infantry Officer, Mr. Dickey was promoted to Intelligence Officer and held many domestic and deployed intelligence posts.

In civilian life, he continues to display a commitment to government and veteran's affairs. He was President and Chief Operating Officer of Alpha Ten Technologies, Inc., a government contracting company providing Information Technology and engineering services, from 2008 until early 2012.

During David Dickey's tenure at Alpha Ten Technologies, he maintained an active profile in various aspects of veteran's issues. From 2008 to 2011, Mr. Dickey served as President of the San Diego County Chapter of California Disabled Veterans Business Alliance Alliance, a nonprofit entity assisting disabled veterans to use their skills in California contracts for products and services. In 2011, Mr. Dickey also functioned on the alliance's Board of Directors and as its second Vice President.

In 2011, he also sat as a California Disabled Veterans Business Alliance Advisory Council member. The Advisory Council provides a resource and a forum for disabled veterans in business. Disabled veterans receive advice and recommendations regarding California state policies relevant to disabled veteran business utilization and State contracting participation. As a council member, David Dickey assisted in managing the Disabled Veterans Small Business Program.
