David Epstein

David is founder of Atlanta ContactPoint (ACP) a Georgia 501(c)(3) nonprofit
organization established to engage the local community through the power of
play. Our community-based model is designed to support, educate, and
facilitate comprehensive wellness programs that encompass sports, fitness,
arts, nutrition, and social/environmental responsibility.

His passion for community, the well being of his neighbors, and the demand
for intown play space spurred the vision of ACP.
David feels Atlanta is ready for a model of sports, fitness, and health.

ACP has an inaugural project in mind: turning the state-owned Pullman Yard,
a twenty-six-acre former rail facility in Kirkwood, into a compound with indoor
activity space and outdoor fields of durable turf that can withstand year-round
use.

David is also the founder of the local PLAY DAY’s. Taking over city parks
for the day; bringing the community together for a fun day of sports and
activities, while promoting local initiatives and coaches. David currently works
at Druid Hills Preschool as a music enrichment teacher and outdoor play
specialist. David also teaches tennis throughout the year in Atlanta and runs a tennis program in upstate NY during the summer.

David and ACP have been featured in Altanta Magazine, Atlanta Journal Constitution, Atlanta Intown, and Ponce Press. Check links below....
