I run the blog We Hunted the Mammoth, which tracks (and mocks) online misogyny and the Men's Rights Movement.
I was also behind the Confused Cats Against Feminism blog, a 2014 viral hit that got media mentions in dozens of outlets, ranging from Newsweek to Le Monde.
I've been writing on topics ranging from gender and culture to money and technology for more than twenty years, mostly as a freelancer.
My writing has appeared in a wide variety of places, ranging from Salon, Time.com, The American Prospect, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, and the New York Times Book Review to Money magazine, where I was a staff writer for a number of years.
I live in Chicago with two cats.
