Born and Raised in Ottawa, Chef David Godsoe has been in the kitchen for more than 10 years. Starting as a dishwasher at the age of 14 to becoming an executive chef at 22. His first restaurant venture quickly became a neighbourhood favourite. It was featured on Urbanspoons Top 10 hottest New Restaurants in Canada list. Chef David has always been a proud supporter of local farms in his area as well as actively contributing to Ottawa farmers markets throughout the city. In July of 2014 Chef David Godsoe left Indulge Kitchen and Cocktails. Teaming up with Chef Michael Blackie and Chef Matt Hall at NeXT. Chef David Godsoe plans to continue to deliver the highest quality, innovative and tasty cuisine to the Ottawa Area while maintaining close relationships with fellow chefs and purveyors . David Godsoe enjoys bringing the best of both high quality food and profitability to any venture. Through menu planning, costing, and integrating management systems to insure success and a hands on approach to leading any team in the right direction.
