Ige

David Ige is a Group General Manager and Senior Adviser to the Group Managing Director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) He has been responsible mainly for the development of Nigeria Gas masterplan and advise the Group MD on broad upstream issues. Dr Ige hold a phD in Engineering from Cambridge UK and MBA from the university of Aberdeen.He started his career with the shell group as a petroleum Engineer in 1993. In 2000 he joined the Global Energy practise of the consultancy firm, Accenture in London where he worked as a strategy consultant. He joined NNPC in 2005 as a General Manager, Executive Strategy and now Group Executive Director, Gas and Power and Adviser to the Group Managin Director of NNPC.
