David Nestler, MD MS

I am an attending physician and assistant professor at the Emergency Department of Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. I am the Quality Chair for the department, and am engaged in many institutional and national Quality positions. I am also interested in Systems Engineering, working with colleagues on the first Emergency Department Clinical Engineering Laboratory, housed in Mayo Clinic Rochester. My goals are two-fold: (1) to create the ideal structure for Quality in an academic medical department, and (2) to partner with Systems Engineers, through our Clinical Engineering Laboratory, to advance operational research and development in Emergency Medicine.
