Ordained Minister in Massachusetts
I'm the one on the right. That's my better and favorite part on the left. I am an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA). Having lived and worked with churches in Virginia and Pennsylvania for 8 years, my wife and I, along with our 4 and 6 year old children, moved to the Boston area in 2014. In many ways, moving to Boston was a homecoming, as we both grew up and graduated high school here. Of course, we return again to find that home is not the way we left it, and home rarely finds us to be totally familiar either. But it is home. We move back in committed to find each other again. My kids love being near their grandparents and cousins, and I love this too. These days I am working as a chaplain to the terminally ill. That I could also see myself as a farmer, a cowboy, a National Parks Ranger, or Thoreau living pond-side at Walden is probably not insignificant. I am a believer in the redemption of all things and the part I can play in making it so. I don’t blog about anything in particular, but everything I blog about is particularly important to me. That it may be to you as well is good enough for me.
