My writing is a construction project. It begins with an idea, an indoor pool, a grocery store, a skyscaper. Before work can even begin this idea must be laboriously considered, thought out, changed, tweaked and decorated. This tedious yet nessecary process will reflect directly on it's finished product. When work can finally begin it's progression is slow but sure. Water and waste lines are put in as i title and open my story. A foundation is laid and my piece ventures out of it's opening. And as the skyscraper rises my blank page transforms into a beautiful inky mess, black smears of brilliance filling the page. Finally the spire pokes into the baby blue sky and my conclusion is complete. I'm left with two masterpieces, a towering skyscraper and a powerful combination of nouns, verbs, adjectives and articles, both one in the same.
