I am a Scientist. My research focus is about the immune system. I am an avid reader of new immunology articles. I like to analyze them and decipher the research tendencies. I try to regularly post my reviews on my science blog NIHilist's Immunology.

I believe that mouse models are not useful to understand human diseases. More funds should be invested in human only ex vivo, in vitro and in silico models as the main alternatives to animal experimentation.

In addition, I like reading books about history and science fiction. I am not very sport oriented though enjoy watching World or Euro Cups in Soccer.

Since 2008, I am taking care of rescued guinea pigs.
