With over 23 years of print advertising sales experience, I have happily accepted a position with DD 214 Chronicle.

DD 214 Chronicle is a bimonthly newspaper created in 2010 for military veterans. DD214 Chronicle is delivered without charge to VFW and American Legion posts, health care facilities including the VA hospitals, more than 80 northern Ohio libraries, colleges and higher-education facilities with veterans programs, among others.

Our readership is approximately 25,000 per issue for the paper edition and our website and Facebook pages are currently reaching hundreds of thousands throughout the United States. The primary focus of DD 214 Chronicle is to deliver pertinent news, human interest stories, veteran-friendly event information, programs and benefit information and resources, health care options, and employment for military veterans spanning the Vietnam war through present day.

My objective is to sell print and online advertising space to businesses and organizations that want to actively market to United States Veterans, their families, and those who support them. Advertising dollars, alone, allow DD214 Chronicle to continue the important work of informing local veterans of news, events, and benefits available to them by various Ohio and national businesses, organizations, and higher-education institutions.

I'm not a high-pressure salesman, and I prefer to work with companies and organizations that I don't have to "sell" to. These companies and organizations already know the importance and value of the need to advertise in a local veterans newspaper, whether it be to announce educational opportunities, job opportunities, benefits, government programs such as the GI Bill, and homebuyer benefits or, to tout a service, product, or event directly to a niche market of loyal readers who support the advertisers that support them.
