David Alderson

As a business development professional and registered professional engineer, I enjoy: building relationships and connecting people and businesses with strategic commercial opportunities; and with partners, pursuing and developing projects that generate commercial profitability, investor wealth and community benefits. As a Project Manager at Cape Breton University’s Verschuren Centre for Sustainability in Energy and the Environment, my focus is on the development of commercial opportunities, partnerships and projects, and I'm leading the establishment of our Energy Modernization Program, which includes new venture start-ups and programs that serve the interests of the public, entrepreneurs and business developers, industry, investors, and public policy makers.
