In 2008 after 8 years of working in large Wall Street firms I set out to start a different kind of wealth management firm in the Washington DC area. By May of 2008, we had launched Monument Wealth Management in Alexandria, VA. Prior to starting MWM, I was an active duty Marine Corps Artillery Officer for 7 years, earned my MBA and CFA Charter and worked at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette / Credit Suisse First Boston and Merrill Lynch. I continue to serve in the Marine Corps Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel.
