David Baucom

A graduate of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces at the National Defense University, where he earned his Masters degree in national resource strategy, and the Naval Postgraduate School, where he earned his Masters degree in acquisition and contract management, Rear Admiral (Ret) David F. Baucom has served in the U.S. Navy since 1981. In addition to his three‐year assignment with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, he has served aboard USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN 71), USS EDWARD McDONNELL (FF 1043) and USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76). David Baucom deployed to Kuwait from 2012 to 2013. A member of the Military Officers Association of America, the National Defense Transportation Association, and the National Contract Management Association, RADM David Baucom previously served as the director of strategy, policy, logistics for the U.S. Transportation Command at Scott Air Force Base in 2013 and on the staff of the Chief of Naval Operations in the Pentagon, Washington D.C. where he was the Director for Logistics Strategy.
As an experienced leader, David Baucom also holds joint specialty officer and naval aviation supply officer qualifications, as well as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt designation. In addition to his naval experience, Rear Admiral (Ret) David F. Baucom was a White House military aide for President and Mrs. Ronald Reagan.
