David Baxley
David Baxley enrolled at Blacksburg, Virginia’s Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University to pursue a degree in marketing. After acquiring a Bachelor of Science in the discipline, David Baxley embarked on his career with Maryland-based Central Wholesalers, Inc., a supplier of maintenance products to multifamily properties and commercial maintenance companies. Working from the company headquarters in Laurel, Maryland, David Baxley provides oversight for much of the company’s business operations, including activities at the satellite facilities in Virginia, New Jersey, and North Carolina. Known for its all-inclusive catalog of hardware, building supplies, electrical equipment, and similar materials, Central Wholesalers also provides firsthand training for industry professionals in the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC industries from its Maryland office. David Baxley helps makes these programs possible by streamlining all of the necessary activities within the organization. Central Wholesalers, Inc. maintains membership with numerous professional organizations throughout its territories to serve its clients better, including property management organizations and apartment associations.
David Baxley utilizes his knowledge and expertise of building materials to support The Loading Dock, Inc. Based in Maryland, the nonprofit organization provides affordable building materials for community projects and special housing by utilizing surplus building supplies in the area. Since the group’s inception, David Baxley and other contributors have saved nearly 33,000 tons of materials, totaling more than $16 million in housing and community project assistance. David Baxley also supports the housing initiatives of Habitat for Humanity International, as well as the work of the Purple Heart Pickup Services and Dig Pink.
