My identity as a philanthropist and epidemiologist has become a central component of who I am. Through numerous international experiences beginning at a young age, I have developed a passion for international development that is evident in my work and volunteer life. Some of my work includes contracts with CIDA in Tanzania, as well as clinical work in Uganda, Tanzania, Mexico and Costa Rica. In addition, I spend most of my time back in Canada on CACHA's (www.cacha.ca) board of directors working on matenral health programs and program monitoring/evaluation.

In addition to my philanthropic lifestyle, and potentially as a result of that passion, I have entered into the world of Public Health with a Master's in Public Health from Queen's University. I continually challenge myself to be a leader in the field of public health and founded the Edward Jenner Public Health Consultants Ltd. (www.publichealthconsultants.ca) with a few other partners. Our company has successfully completed contract work on infectious disease outbreak management, vaccine management programs, health information systems and large data set analysis and evaluations.

Some of my experiences and research fields include: Maternal health, Health care in rural and underserviced communities, Hepatitis C treatment among drug using cohorts, Health information systems, and a passion for charitable work internationally and locally in many forms.
