David Bordwell

My name is David Bordwell. I am an Electrical Engineer/Controls Engineer by day and a Data Analysis/Hacker/Maker by night.

I currently work for Multi Products Company implementing control strategies and rolling out new oil and gas controllers. I find the work both interesting and challanging. It is nice to be in an industry that is atleast 10 years behind in technology.

I work on too many personal projects. The current project is the Heritage Health Prize to predict patient Length of Stay in a Hosipital in the comming year using the data from 3 previous years. This is another example of the exciting work that can be preformed with machine learning algorithms.

I also have a couple of iPhone apps that are always under construction.
