David Cannistraro

A longtime resident of Massachusetts, David Cannistraro studied navel science at the Tabor Academy in Marion, Massachusetts, before ultimately entering the sales field. Over the years, he served as a sales manager with the Triangle Training Center in Malden, Massachusetts, and a senior sales representative with the MA Lottery in Braintree. David Cannistraro performed a variety of program leadership and field service with the MA Lottery for over a quarter century.

During the summer of 2019, Mr. Cannistraro completed a 6-week, residential, dual-diagnosis, partial hospitalization program at Brook Recovery Center in Scituate, Massachusetts, and a 5-week, evening, intensive outpatient program in Abington, Massachusetts. These programs helped him address a debilitating anxiety disorder that had been plaguing him for his entire life.

David Cannistraro went on to serve as a house manager with South Shore Transformation in Plympton, and enroll in substances abuse studies at Quincy College in Quincy, Massachusetts. He accepted a recovery support specialist position at the Braintree headquarters of Brook Recovery Center in February of 2020.
