David Clemy

Consultant, Project Manager, and Public Speaker in Kampala, Uganda

I’m David. I’m a development consultant living in Kampala, Uganda and a global citizen. As a passionate social entrepreneur, I am dedicated to igniting hope and fostering resilience in individuals and communities facing adversity, particularly in East Africa. By collaborating closely with local communities, I empower them to leverage their unique resources, break free from poverty, and build sustainable futures.

As a mentor and coach, I inspire personal and community growth, helping individuals recognize and harness their strengths. I advocate fiercely for social change, championing the rights of people with disabilities and promoting initiatives that uplift youth and women. I believe in nurturing the next generation of leaders and ensuring their voices resonate in decision-making processes.

In addition to my advocacy work, I am a researcher focused on organic farming and sustainable food preservation. My partnerships with European universities enhance community resilience and promote agricultural innovation. I thrive on challenging conventional thinking to discover new solutions that drive lasting change.

As an international development professional, I connect with social change leaders globally, fostering collaborations that address pressing global challenges. Through initiatives like VICOBAplus, I aim to shift mindsets and cultivate sustainable communities worldwide.

I also guide donors in making impactful investments in social change and support aspiring entrepreneurs by providing them with the tools and training essential for success. My mission is to empower individuals and transform communities, creating a better world for all.
