David Costa

David Costa is a Toronto-based lawyer and founder of the Costa Law Firm, which he started in 1997. David holds several law degrees, including a Canadian law degree from the University of Windsor and an American law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.

For over two decades, David has worked faithfully to bring the highest level of legal representation to his firm’s community. David has worked equally hard in building a team of specialized associates at the Costa Law Firm who are talented and dedicated to providing quality service to the firm’s clients.

Having been established in the Greater Toronto Area for two decades, David Costa and the Costa Law Firm are familiar not only with the surrounding community, but also with the greater region’s substantive and procedural laws and institutions. Costa Law Firm’s associates have experience successfully arguing cases before the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice and divisional levels of court.

The Costa Law Firm provides expert counsel in a wide range of legal areas, including civil litigation, real estate law, wills and estate law, labour and employment law, and family law. David leads the firm’s criminal law division and also assists in the areas of business law, municipal law and real estate law to bring the highest level of legal counsel to clients.

For that reason, the firm offers a 24-hour emergency pager system for situations where emergency legal assistance is needed. Clients have found that the pager system is particularly helpful in urgent matters like bail hearings, civil injunctions, and support applications.
