David Cremonesini

David is a Consultant Paediatrician from UK of 6 years who studied Medicine at both Oxford University and then St Georges Hospital in London. He has a degree in Allergy from Southampton University. He's worked at Hinchingbrooke Hospital for over 4 years leading an allergy service but has started a new challenge moving to Dubai, UAE. It's a 2 year sabbatical and something different for him and his family.

In Dubai he sees children in clinic with general problems but also offers allergy testing to help with the treatment of the following conditions:

1. ECZEMA - in babies severe eczema often related to food allergy

2. FOOD ALLERGY - its vital to test all children to confirm which food and appropriate advice

3. ASTHMA - allergy testing might change their life

4. HAYFEVER - why should children suffer during exams?

5. Offers sublingual immunotherapy to treat allergy to pollens / house dust / animal hair

In Dubai medical care can be very variable and so David hopes to offer uptodate evidence-based care and trying to at least a little, demedicalise the culture here!

David is also the www.netmums.com doctor doing regular drop in clinics online, training lead at his hospital, sits on national panel looking at reasons for asthma deaths. He's published several papers on childhood respiratory problems and is an examiner for his Royal College.
