Dave is a decorated veteran of the U.S. Army. Honorably discharged in 1989 after two enlistments as an Airborne/Air-Assault Jungle and Demolitions expert, Dave started his sales career with a major franchised auto dealer in 1989. Dave held every sales and management position from salesperson to Internet Manger, Finance Manger, Used Car Manager, New Car Manager, GSM/GM.
In 2014 Dave was hired by David Villa with IPD as a corporate trainer and charged with developing training content for the creation of Auto Dealer University (autodealeruniversity.com). Dave also joined “Auto Dealer Live” (autodealerlive.net) as the co-host while writing for Dealer Solutions Magazine.
In 2016 Dave was approached by industry leaders to co-author “Race To The Finish Line” which became an Amazon Best-Seller. Dave currently serves as Lead Trainer of the online training platform Auto Dealer University. Dave performs LIVE in-person and virtual training and consulting meetings regularly and has assisted hundreds of dealers across the U.S. and Canada in implementing growth strategies.
