David Dalition

After graduating summa cum laude from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota with an undergraduate humanities degree and an accounting minor, David Dalition attended law school at the University of Notre Dame where he was a Marshall Scholar candidate and a moot court competition winner. Earning his juris doctor and passing the California Bar in 1991, David Dalition embarked on his extensive military law career as a prosecuting attorney at Fort Benning in Columbus, Georgia.
Mr. Dalition went on to hold senior positions with the Army’s Claims Service, Trial Defense Service, Litigation Division, Western District of Texas Attorney’s Office, and Fires Center of Excellence. He ultimately rose to the rank of colonel and served as staff judge advocate with the Aberdeen Proving Grounds Communications-Electronics Command.
David Dalition also remained active in academics, obtaining two master of law degrees and teaching at West Point. Most recently, he directed national security legal studies for the Department of National Security and Strategy at the U.S. Army War College.
