David Deatherage's interior design career was born from being a vintage modern furniture dealer and working with globally renown Interior Designers and Architects. He sells vintage modern furnishings via 1stdibs.com Select pieces from his vintage furnishing offerings have been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, House & Garden, In Style Magazine, Domino Magazine, among others.
His own design work has been featured in Alive Magazine, St. Louis Magazine, the Ladue News, Elegant Living and the St. Louis Post. He participated in the Ladue News Designer Showhouse in 2012 & 2013. The desk he had refinished specifically for his space in the Bernoudy showhouse was actually sold to Paul McCartney via 1stdibs.
His love of fine textiles is apparent in all of his projects. His knowledge of vintage furniture informs his eye when looking at new design & designating custom furniture crafted specifically for the client & their space.
Currently he is working on select projects in Ladue, Clayton & the CWE.
