Born in Guelph Ontario 1981 to a Trinidadian mother and Aruban father, Denise David always knew she was destined to be an extravagant Fashion Designer. In 2000, Denise moved to Toronto, ON and enrolled in Seneca College's Fashion Arts program. After school, she took some time off to travel the world and see other cultures and their way of life. The inspiration that manifested from her travels unleashed a stronger scent of desire to pursue a career in Fashion. To experience herself more in the fashion field Denise, volunteered and worked for many talented Canadian designers and entered herself in local fashion shows. These experiences helped Denise learned the real ropes of fashion and the industry. Currently Denise is focusing on her custom women's wear apparel, where she closely works with her extensive clientele, to determine the best style that fits their personality. She is also creating her second ready to wear women’s fashion line. You will find inspiration from the 50’s and 60’s. A mixture of a regal sophisticated stature to create a rich aura in this year’s F/W 2013 line. Denise David fuses art and design to create timeless collections of clothing. She provides fashion Illustration, pattern development, and garment construction services, and is preparing to début her ready to wear line in trendy local Toronto boutiques. Denise always manages to surprise and delight her customers with her unique combinations of soulful techniques and artistic inspiration.
