To define oneself in words would be to define oneself inaccurately. As powerful as words are, I believe a human being has more intricacies and should be viewed as a more complex art. Yet as impossible as it may be to portray myself in words, I’d still love to attempt the impossible. It’s invigorating, isn’t it? I’m a Christian/Musician/Writer/Dancer on a search for the ultimate intellectual feast. I yearn for a new entity to fill this empty void where inspiration should be present. And what I’ve found out in my brief career as a writer is that what inspires me is personal acceptance of what I write. I write for my own approval. But because I know there are people out there who choose to value my opinion, I publish my thoughts and feelings, hoping that the influence I have is a positive one. So as a writer, I want every word to have meaning. I want every sentence to have life, but I don’t want my periods to be the death of them. I suppose my letters to you will be an inadequate incarnate of “Who I Am”.
