David E. Purinton is the Founder and President of PurCo Fleet Services, an independent damage recovery service in the car rental industry. He has transformed Purco Fleet Services from a modest business to America’s largest independent company in the field. Pulling from his car rental experience David has transformed the industry and has been met with success and acclaim on his path.

David has over 40 years of experience in the auto rental industry and is committed to transforming it. His experience includes regional management for two national car rental companies, on-site computer software training for the auto rental industry, and independent risk management consulting. Along with this experience, David brings extensive knowledge of the industry, a unique business acumen, and a hands-on management style which has helped him become a renowned leader. He is also a frequent speaker at industry conventions and often authors articles on risk management in industry journals.

His philosophy is one of openness and inclusion, which is translated into PurCo’s workplace environment and client-serving practices. Outside of work David Purinton is a music and golf enthusiast.
