Hello internet and welcome to this page,

My name is Daffyd Kendrick. I grew up in three countries and am now living by myself in one of them. I'm recovering from culture shock, a panic disorder brought on by the aformentioned issue, and the horror of discovering the scandalous food prices in this country. I'm also a fervent follower of the sarcastic lifestyle.

I enjoy pondering the meaning of our daily routine and that of the universe at large as well– all in an insufferably sarcastic tone, of course. I also like thinking about what it means to grow up in multiple cultures, how human rights evolve throughout the course of time and what flavour cheesecake I like best.

When I chose sarcasm over boring seriousness two years ago, my life was forever changed. I became a new person, irretrievably transformed by the healing power of sarcasm.

My soul metamorphosed unmistakeably, my comments on my friends' Facebook posts became wittier and my love life became all the more passionate for it as well (I've now actually flirted once, so we're taking huge steps in the area).

Gardening is my life, though I also find much pleasure in long walks, British humour and wearing flannel. I'm also a caffeine junkie and an insufferable perfectionist.

There are two blogs written under my name. The first – reflexiones holandesas – I'm ignoring and will thus have little to no new content on it for many months to come. The second – Be never Serious – is more fun to write, and will probably end up with a new post at least once a week. Probably.
