I have always had a passion for sports. I played several sports in high school; my favorite being football. During my Junior year, I tore my Anterior Crucial Ligament in my left knee while playing, underwent reconstructive surgery and spent nine months doing physical rehabilitation.

The next year, I was excited to get back to football, being that it was my last year to play because I was a Senior. During the first game, I tore the Anterior Crucial Ligament in my right knee, preventing me from playing the rest of the season. I was devastated, but was determined to recoved quickly. This time, I only spent five months in rehabilitation.

The kind people at the rehabilitation center offered me a job after I graduated high school, and I soon realized my passion: Physical Therapy. I am currently a student at Adelphi Univeristy studying Exercise Science and plan on going to graduate school for Physical Therapy to obtain a DPT. I still work at the rehabilitation center and enjoy my job very much. Despite my injuries, I am still active and partake in competative races.
