Back in 2001, my wife and I sold the company we had spent 11 years building and asked ourselves, what now? Our kids were grown up, our house was too big for us and we were spending too much of our time and money managing 'stuff' and mowing the lawn. Then suddenly, as we were driving up the west coast of Florida on a road trip vacation, it came to us: we had to make a big change. We sold everything and downsized to a beautiful two bedroom apartment in Siesta Key, Florida. Finally we spend most of time doing things we really enjoy: golfing, hiking, bike-riding, learning to ballroom dance and spending time with our family.
