Originally from Western Massachusetts, the Berkshire area, David began working in the food industry at a local restaurant in his home town community.

David attended Westfield Vocational -Technical High Scool and focused in the cabinet making and the construction trade.

Upon graduation david enlisted in the United States Navy as a SeaBee as a builder in Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Three. Bravo Company

After leaving the Navy, David entered the sales/sales management industry as Regional Marketing Director for American Income Life, a TorchMark company.

While in this role, david re-enlisted in the Armed Forces, as an Army Light Infantry Member.

Over the years David developed as a military Leader. He began to educate and train soldiers in areas to include:

• Marksmanship

• Combat Life Saver

• Land Navigation

• Call for fire/Close Air Support

• Small Team Leadership

• Operational planning

After being wounded during a battalion deployment In Support Of Operation Enduring Freedom In Cop Wright, Kunar Province, David Transitioned as a Platoon Sargent for a Forward Observer unit based out of NY, until eventually being medically released in July, 2014

Prior to his deployment, David returned to the food industry both as a chef for numerous facilities throughout the Northeast, and attending Connecticut Culinary Institute for Advanced Culinary Arts Program.

Returning home from deployment, unable to sustain the two career paths previously trained for, David found healing and growth in Agriculture.

It was at this point two things happened:

David enrolled at Morrisville State College in both the agricultural business and dairy science concentrations. Also this is when David found the healing properties of horticultural and animal based therapies, and how the first Veteran Farm, Vets2Farm Inc. started.

David continued his quest for knowledge and enrolled in a USDA Processing course at SUNY Cobleskill, while managing as an Executive Director and being active in local city politics as first ward alderman, in his Little Falls, Ny community.

On a day off David can be found armed with a camera, a pitchfork, a or an instrument.
