David Gordon
David Gordon is currently Managing Partner of Cohn & Wolfe | Toronto, since joining the firm in 1999 to lead its corporate communications and public affairs team.
David has worked with clients in the manufacturing, brewing, financial services, electronic gaming, international trade and public sectors and is comfortable dealing with a broad range of communication challenges from brand marketing to crisis management and public affairs.
David's background includes work as a government relations consultant, Senior Advisor to the Attorney General of Ontario and Minister Responsible for Native Affairs, and as an international trade analyst with the Korean Trade Commission (KOTRA).
David holds degrees from York University (BA), McMaster University (MA) and the University of Toronto (MBA). He serves on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Canada, the Board of Evangel Hall Mission, and the Business Advisory Board of Brainrider Inc.
An award winning communicator, David has been recognized by the IABC and CPRS for his achievements in the successful delivery of issue management and strategic media relations programs, received a Gold Quill Award for marketing communications program, and in 2009 received the prestigious North American Sabre Gold award for social marketing.
