David Michael Groves

The State of Washingon, U.S.A.

Born to humble parents, a landsurveyor, and a school teacher, David quickly learned some of the lessons that come with having fewer initial advantages than some. It became clear to him at a young age that his intellect would set him apart, and, while he is an athletic, physical being, his gifts for academics, particularly language, set him apart.

As he reached adulthood, he found that much of his education, prestigious as it was, left him somewhat under-prepared for life in the real world. As time passed, he learned more deeply that the greatest teacher one has is oneself, and that one must take responsibility for his or her continued learning.

At the age of 27, having performed 3 miracles to the satisfaction of an impartial judge of sufficient authority to grant such a title, he attained the title of Saint, perhaps the first living Saint. It was for personal, and deeply spiritual reasons that he sought this attainment at such a unique time in his life. And the only cause to which he could be suitably devoted would be education.

Sometimes brazen, short-tempered, and incisive, St. David Michael is generally not lacking in humility and kindness towards his fellow man. Reasonable and rational perhaps to a fault, he devotes his energy to the continued pursuit of learning for all individuals, for the purpose of their enlightenment and their enjoyment of life.
