I write books for a living. Sometimes they're set in Italy and feature a bunch of cops based in contemporary Rome, the most visible of whom is called Nic Costa. Sometimes they're adaptations of the Danish TV series The Killing into book form. And from 2014 they'll add some new titles set in Amsterdam.
