David Hansen-Sturm

Hello!

My name is David Hansen-Sturm and I grew up in upstate New York. As a young boy I caught the filmmaking bug big time! From 10 trough 18 years old I directed, shot, and edited many “Super 8mm” short films. After High School, I studied filmmaking at Parsons New School in New York City. After 2 years there I transferred out to Los Angeles to attend “The University of Southern California’s School of Cinema Television ”.

After collage, in California, I discovered live event documentaries and have worked as a freelance “gun for hire” camera operator and editor for over 25 years.

I have captured and edited celebrity weddings, birthday galas, and behind the scenes documentaries. I have filmed for Netflix, Disney, Nike, AAMCO, The FAA, eHarmony, Staples, Mini Cooper, just to name a few.
