I've been fortunate to enjoy, and to continue to enjoy, a highly creative life.

Currently I'm based in New York City, where I work as a writer and filmmaker.

Before that I lived not only in the States, but also in Europe, where I was a copywriter and creative director for a number of the world's most creative advertising agencies.

But my deepest passion has always been music. Theory and compostion is what I studied at Harvard, and I continue to play, peform and teach.

What I've learned from creating in a variety media is that there's something common to them all, whether it's taking a photograph, editing a film, writing copy or playing a jazz solo.

I've even formalized my thinking about creativity in seminars which I now present at universities and corporations.

It's really been a wonderful life.

And it's just getting started.
