David Jiménez
Legal Assistant and Part-time Student in Orange, California
I am a legal assistant specializing in the drafting of written discovery responses directed to defense law firms and settlement demands sent to insurance companies. I work at a small plaintiff's personal injury law office in Santa Ana, California. In the evenings, two times a week, I attend classes at Santa Ana College and/or Santiago Canyon College to advance my educational objectives.
I am a 5 time college graduate of the Rancho Santiago Community College District. Currently, I am the recipient of four Associate degrees: Business Administration; Modern Languages; Political Science; and Management. Additionally, I have earned two Certificates of Proficiency in Management Supervision and Management Human Resource. Most recently, I have completed the course of studies for an Associates degree in Anthropology and I am in the process of completing the last class for an Associates degree in History.
My hobbies include learning languages. I am presently taking an 8-week Russian language course at the Orange County Lingual Institute in Costa Mesa, California. In addition to English, I can speak Spanish on a bilingual capacity and German on an intermediate basis and I look forward to gaining proficiency in Russian and Dutch in the long-term future. I enjoy listening to music of various types (mostly Rock and songs from motivational movie soundtracks).
I love to read books, articles and essays on international relations, foreign policy matters and issues of significant global economic importance.
Additionally, I enjoy working out at the gym on the treadmill or exercise bike as a leisure activity and I have cycled long distances in the past throughout Orange and Los Angeles Counties.
I am relentless in the pursuit of rendering my talents to those without a voice, passionate in the desire for intellectual enlightenment, scientific reasoning, and academic achievement.
