David Jirousek

David M. Jirousek has spent the last several years of his career as a planning director. He currently leads Horizon Planning and Consulting, LLC, where he and his colleagues offer an array of permit, zoning, management, and review services. Drawing on nearly a decade of experience in the industry, David M. Jirousek understands the need for planning directors who can oversee projects from conception to completion, and he commits himself to offering this level of personalized service to each of his clients.

Before founding his own firm, Mr. Jirousek acted as Director of Planning and Building Services for Jasper County, in South Carolina. Among other accomplishments, he supervised capital projects in excess of $2.6 million and oversaw creation of a best-practices manual for storm-water runoff planning.

As a dedicated planning director, David M. Jirousek holds membership in several professional organizations, including the American Planning Association and the American Institute of Certified Planners.
